You don't need editing skills or anything memorized. This is a simple structure — fill it in with your own words, and film it in one take using just your phone.
The structure
- Open with the product in hand. Something like: "This is something I've been using lately..."
- Say what it is, in your own words. One sentence on what the product is or how you use it.
- Say why you like it. One honest reason — how it fits your routine, not a list of claims.
- Close with your link. Something like: "You can find it through my link — I'll drop it below."
- Add your disclosure. "I may earn a commission if you shop through my link."
Fifteen to twenty seconds, filmed in one take, is plenty.
Filming prompts, if you want to switch it up
- Film yourself unboxing or opening the product for the first time
- Show how you actually use it — applying a balm, adding it to a routine, etc.
- Film in natural light near a window — it makes a bigger difference than any editing app
- Keep your phone steady, or prop it against something — you don't need a tripod
A few things to keep in mind
