Stories are one of the easiest ways to share — they're quick, casual, and gone in 24 hours, which takes the pressure off getting it perfect. Here's a simple structure to build one around.
The structure
- Slide 1 — the moment. A quick photo or video of the product in use, or just sitting on your counter. Add a short line of text, something like: "Trying this out today."
- Slide 2 — the why. One honest sentence about why you like it or how it fits your routine. This is a good place to add a poll sticker, like "Have you tried this?" — polls tend to boost engagement and give people a reason to interact.
- Slide 3 — the link. Add your link using the link sticker, with a short prompt like "Tap to shop" or "Link's here." Include your disclosure somewhere on this slide: "I may earn a commission if you shop through my link."
A few tips
- You don't need all 3 slides every time — even one slide with a photo and your link works
- Polls, quizzes, and question stickers tend to get more views on your next Story too
- Reuse the same 3-slide structure for any product — it doesn't need to change each time
A few things to keep in mind
Keep it personal and honest. Avoid saying a product treats, cures, or fixes any condition. Full guidance is on the Affiliate Hub under Sharing Rules.
Stories are low-pressure by design — they don't stick around, so there's no reason to overthink one.
