Organic Anti-Fungal Skin Bath Salts

Jock itch is caused by stubborn fungal organisms that thrive in warm, moist areas of the skin.

Using an antifungal soak with the balm helps cleanse the area, disinfect the skin, and support the body's natural healing process.

Dr. Cole created these herbal skin fungus bath salts to complement topical antifungal treatments and help address deeper fungal irritation.

  • Helps disinfect affected skin and wash away fungus
  • Supports comfort for irritated, itchy skin
  • Helps reduce recurring fungal flare-ups with regular use

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. The balm can be used on both:
  • Skin fungus (athlete's foot, jock itch, ringworm)
  • Nail fungus (toenails and fingernails)

The thick, beeswax-based texture helps the formula adhere to nails and cuticles, keeping the antifungal ingredients in contact with the infected area to support improvement in discoloration and thickening over time.
Tea tree oil alone can be harsh, drying, and hard to control on sensitive or inflamed skin, and it may not stay on nails well.

Dr. Cole's Antifungal Balm:
  • Dilutes tea tree oil in a base of olive oil and beeswax, which makes it gentler and more comfortable to use.
  • Adds multiple complementary herbs (neem, oregano, Pau d'Arco, calendula, etc.) that broaden its antifungal action and add soothing, reparative benefits.
  • Forms a protective barrier that helps keep the active ingredients in contact with the problem area longer than just a few drops of tea tree oil.

So it's a more balanced, multi-herb formula that supports the skin and nails while still working against fungus.
This is a 2-ounce jar, and when used daily on typical problem areas (such as feet or nails), it usually lasts about one month. Since a little balm goes a long way, many people find that a thin layer applied once or twice a day is enough to cover the affected area.
The balm is formulated to be gentle and suitable for the whole family, but sensitive areas need extra care.
  • For the groin, genitals, face, or broken skin, it's best to start with a very small amount and do a patch test on a discreet area first.
  • Avoid using it on open wounds or severely broken skin unless a healthcare provider has cleared it for you.
  • If you are sensitive to essential oils (like tea tree or oregano), try a patch test before full-area use and discontinue if you notice burning, stinging, or a rash.
For best results, follow a simple daily routine:
  1. Clean and dry the area thoroughly (feet, nails, groin, or patch of ringworm).
  2. Apply a thin layer of Dr. Cole's Antifungal Balm directly to the affected skin or nails, gently massaging to help it penetrate.
  3. Use 1-2 times per day as suggested on the label, and continue for several weeks even after symptoms improve to help prevent recurrence.
  4. For nails:
    • Trim and file nails when possible to reduce thick layers.
    • Apply the balm to the nail, nail bed, and surrounding skin.

Combining the balm with good hygiene — like keeping skin dry, wearing breathable fabrics, and changing socks regularly — can help support faster improvement and discourage reinfection.

Great Natural Remedies

The balm is naturally mild almost unscented. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised. It has anti-fungal protection qualities and is probably more effective after using Dr. Cole’s anti-fungal bath salts. It was a positive experience.

Additionally, I tried Dr. Cole’s Anti-Fungal Bath Salts which have a powerfully refreshing scent. These are not your typical ingredients and seem to be carefully formulated as a crystallized salt. I prefer Dr. Cole’s to using commercial over the counter products. I can’t say yet if the fungus is going to go away because I’ve used Dr. Cole’s products only twice. Overall though I trust how it’s working as a natural remedy.

The Only Thing that Works

I bought it previously for an infection that was getting painful and I tried almost everything else available before a podiatrist recommended Dr. Cole's. I didn't have much success with the bath salts, but the balm cleared it up for a few years even after I stopped using it. I was very happy with how effective it was.

Subtle aroma, not overwhelming, good product

I just started using this to prevent warm-weather rashes in the folds of my skin under breasts, abdominal folds, etc. So far, I am pleased because it does not have a strong aroma, which has happened with a different brand I also use. Hopefully, it will be equally effective. So far, so good! A little goes a long way, too, especially if the ingredients are concentrated enough.
